Anodisc is an inorganic alumina membrane with uniform pores and a flat surface, used where the sample is examined directly on the filter — electron microscopy, microplastics and particle counting.

0.45µm or 0.2µm?
0.45µm is standard for clarification and water microbiology. Use 0.2µm for sterile filtration where bacteria must be fully removed.
Are sterile and non-sterile versions available?
Yes. Gridded MCE membranes for microbiology come individually sterile-packed; general filtration grades ship non-sterile.
